MX, SPF, DMARC and DNSBL lookup
Look up MX, SPF, DMARC, BIMI, MTA-STS and IP blacklists for one domain or address. Only the name or IP you type is sent.
Enter a domain for MX, SPF, DMARC and DNSBL on its mail IPs, or paste an IP to check that address only. Only that value is sent.
How it works
This is a DNS lookup, not a mailbox login and not a bulk scanner.
-
Step 1
Enter one domain or IP
Example: example.com or 203.0.113.10. Nothing else is sent.
-
Step 2
Read the records
MX tells you who receives mail. SPF and DMARC are TXT policies. BIMI and MTA-STS are optional extras. Mail IPs (and a typed IP) are checked on common DNSBLs.
-
Step 3
Fix with the builders
Use the SPF and DMARC builders on this site to draft a record, then publish it at your DNS host.
Email DNS FAQ
Do you store the domain?
No. The lookup runs, the result is returned, and nothing is kept as a report database.
Why is Spamhaus empty?
Some lists ignore public resolvers. A blank answer means “no response”, not a clean bill of health.
Does MX mean mail will be delivered?
It means a receiver is published. Firewalls, greylisting and content filters still apply.
