People and contact data
Common first names plus a following surname, email addresses, phone numbers and mobile numbers.
Location and IDs
UK postcodes, street addresses, dates, National Insurance numbers, Social Security numbers and card numbers.
Links
Web URLs in the message body. Double-click any remaining word to add it to the redaction list.

Is this free redaction tool private?
Yes. The file is processed in your browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded to Hexamail servers. Hexamail Flow uses the same local-only model for bulk email, PST and PDF redaction on your desktop.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Load a sample or a file and download the result immediately. There is no account on this tool.
How does double-click redaction work?
Double-click any word to redact every matching word in the document, or to restore them if they were already redacted. That matches the Hexamail Flow and Hexamail Tools workflow.
Can I redact a PDF?
Yes. Upload one PDF (up to 25 pages). Text is extracted in the browser, auto-redacted, and you can print or save a redacted copy. Scanned image-only PDFs need Hexamail Flow with OCR.
How is this different from Hexamail Flow?
This page is a single-file browser utility. Hexamail Flow is the Windows desktop product: bulk email and attachment redaction, PST/MSG import, GDPR subject-access workflows, and automatic detection — all on your PC.
Can I keep the subject’s details visible?
Yes. Enter the SAR subject in Keep visible. Their name and email are not auto-redacted, the same idea as a Subject Access Request folder in Hexamail Flow.
