Office 365 / Microsoft 365 POP3 Downloader
Microsoft 365 mailboxes are IMAP/Graph, not a reason to abandon collection. How to pull Microsoft 365 (or push ISP POP into Microsoft 365) with OAuth2 instead of passwords.
Two directions people mean
A. Microsoft 365 is the source. You want a local Exchange, Hexamail, or archive copy. Use IMAP (or Graph via a vendor that supports it) with OAuth2. Stored passwords against M365 are a dying pattern.
B. Microsoft 365 is the destination. ISP still has POP. Collect POP/IMAP and SMTP-deliver into Exchange Online (relay) or a local hybrid box. That is the classic POP connector story on SBS, still real in 2026.
Hub: Gmail POP3 alternative (same collector pattern). Product: POP3 downloader.
Hexamail POP3 Downloader and Microsoft 365
OAuth2 sign-in for Microsoft 365, IMAP including folders, delivery to any SMTP including Exchange Online if you allow the relay, or to on-prem Exchange. Do not fight EWS sunset with a POP client password. If the real need is retention inside the tenant, that is M365 archiving, not a downloader.
