Mailbox user details

   Information

Username

The name of the user. Users must have a unique name in the system and the name is case insensitive. The user name must be made up of alphanumerical characters only and may contain spaces

Display Name

The displayed name of the user. Users can have a full name shown in email fields etc. Users can modify this setting.

Email Address

The email address of the user

Password

The password used to authenticate for this user to obtain access to user-specific interfaces such as the user SPAM quarantine web interface. If the user has been imported from an Active Directory the user will be authenticated against the Active Directory unless the username is changed in this interface. If you change the password for an Active directory user in this interface the change is ONLY used for Hexamail Server and does NOT change the password in the Active Directory.

Alias

Users can have more than one email address: add any additional email addresses a user has to this list. Email to any alias of a user will be delivered to the user's mailbox. Alias can contain wildcards * (any characters) and ? (any single character).
