This group shows information about the current Antivirus scanning engine version and allows you to configure how often automatic updates are downloaded

Automatic Update every

Specify the interval between checks for automatic updates

Example interface:

Range1 - 168 hours

Default:4 hours

   Attachment Scanning

The antivirus module can scan email attachment types specified, and take action if infected

Action if infected

Defines what to do when attachments matching those configured are found to be infected

Example interface:

Options:Off, Mark, Detach, Block

Default:Block

Wild cards for identifying attachments you wish to be scanned for virus, worms or other malicious or undesireable automated scripts

Block macros within office documents

Advice to user

Enter the virus advice message you would like to use. This is the message inserted if attachments are detached from an email because the scanner detects a virus.
